The USC Trojans have found their new offensive line coach, the former Oklahoma State coach Bill Connelly. While Sark has not been allowed to comment on the matter, the addition of Connelly will fill the hole left from former coach Tim Drevno, who now works under coach Jim Harbaugh. Connelly, an 18-year coaching veteran, has served tenures with Alabama, UCLA, Arizona State and Washington State.

The 1956 USC Football team went 8-2, but the most lasting memory from that season may have come from this Sports Illustrated Photo. The USC Trojans defeated the Texas Longhorns, 44-20, at Texas Memorial Stadium.

USC wide receiver JuJu Smith dabbed a new hair color heading into the Spring Semester. Smith participated in early throwing workouts last week and says he's still considering playing on both sides of the ball in spring football. Maybe JuJu got the inspiration from Jordan McLaughlin, who goes full Cardinal on top for basketball season.

USC Trojan captain Hayes Pullard has accepted his nomination for the 2015 Senior Bowl, honoring the best and brightest talent preparing to enter the upcoming NFL Draft. Pullard led the Trojans in tackles this past season, completing that mark for the third time in four seasons. Pullard will play his final game on Dec. 27, which should quite the emotional ending to a long-standing career for USC. The standout sophomore safety feels that Josh Shaw will make a strong impact in the USC secondary once he is ready to play on a more regular basis. Shaw practiced exclusively at cornerback today in practice and Coach Sark left the timetable unknown in terms of when Shaw will return.

USC reinstated redshirt senior cornerback Josh Shaw on Tuesday afternoon after the LA County DA declined to charge him and USC conducted its own investigation in one night.
