USC lands another commit during the early signing period. Three star defensive end Tuli Tulpulotu commits to the Trojans early Wednesday morning. The Lawndale product also held offers from Cal, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Oregon, and UCLA. His signing was announced by the USC football twitter account.

If you’re familiar with the last name that’s because Tuli’s older brother Marlon is currently a member of the USC roster. He will now join his brother on the same defensive line. Tulpulotu was considered a USC lean due to his brother being there.
Coming out of Lawndale High School (Lawndale, CA), Tulpulotu is ranked as the No. 43 defensive end in the 2020 recruiting class, No. 42 in the state of California, and No. 486 Nationally per the 247 Sports Composite. At 6’3, 266 pounds, the three star defensive end brought physicality and toughness to the Lawndale defensive line.
Tulpulotu joins Kobe Pepe as the latest defensive linemen to sign in the 2020 recruiting class. He brings versatility to play multiple positions if needed. He can play has stand up edge rusher and has the size to slide to the inside if needed.
