Elite in-state offensive guard Myles Murao can add power upfront for the USC Trojans.

The Mater Dei/USC love continues with the latest offer to four-star Monarch player Myles Murao.

On Thursday Murao announced via Twitter that he had been extended an offer from Clay Helton and the Trojans.

For the class of 2020, Murao is currently the No. 1 offensive guard in the nation, and No. 6 in the state of California.

The 6-3, 270 pound recruit holds offers from rival Pac-12 schools Utah, Washington, Oregon, ASU, Colorado, Oregon State, and UCLA.

If Murao chooses USC, he would join Mater Dei teammates JT Daniels, Amon-Ra St. Brown, and Solomon Tuliaupupu.

Crystal ball predictions per 247Sports has Murao going to USC but Murao has also stated he is interested in Washington and Notre Dame as well.

Currently USC has six guards on roster, four of which are seniors. By the time Murao were to arrive on campus the Trojans would only have two guards on roster in Frank Martin II and Roy Hemsley.

A commitment from Murao would give USC needed depth and strength in an offensive line that struggled during the 2017-18 season.

Murao’s Hudl lists he benches 355, squats 455, and runs a 4.97 40-yard dash. The four-star has the size and power to compete at the next level whether it be at USC or elsewhere.
