The USC Trojans’ secondary will be hard pressed to have depth issues as another cornerback signed with the boys in cardinal and gold on Wednesday morning.

Trey Davis, a three-star corner out of Federal Way, Washington, is trading the clouds and rain for sunny skies of Southern California.

The 6-foot-0, 185 pounder is the No. 127 cornerback in the nation and the No. 10 player in the state of Washington. Davis committed to USC back in May over Pac-12 rival Washington State.

Davis will join fellow 2019 cornerback signee Max Williams and current on-roster Trojans Dominic Davis, Greg Johnson, Olaijah Griffin, Isaac Taylor-Stuart, and Chase Williams. With seniors leaving for the NFL Draft and 2018 signees not cementing starting roles in the USC backfield, playing time is wide open at corner.

According to his Hudl, Davis runs a speedy 4.4 second 40-yard dash, and has a vertical of 36 inches. While he may be one of the most underrated signees in the class of 2019, he has the versatile makeup to make plays on the field.
