Tufono sent a tweet that he has made it official with the Trojans Wednesday morning. USC has yet to make the announcement official, but expect one to come soon as multiple commits are getting their letter of intent’s in.
Tufono is ranked as the No. 11 overall linebacker in the 2019 and ranked No. 3 overall in the state of Hawaii per 247 Sports Composite. Coming out of Punahou High School in Honolulu, Hawaii, the four-star linebacker stayed firm to his commit to the Trojans since August of 2019.
USC will be returning a large amount of linebackers to the roster, however as seen this past season, Clancy Pendergast has been rotating a lot of bodies. With the new four game red shirt rule, Tufono could see some rotation time if he impresses. USC has two linebackers in the 2019 recruiting class after stacking up on them in previous recruiting classes.
