Wolfe is ranked as the No. 7 overall tight end in the 2019 class and No. 31 overall in the state of California per the 247 Sports Composite. Fifty percent of his catches counted for touchdowns according to the USC athletics twitter page. Wolfe committed to USC back in August of 2018 and been a solid commit since then.
The commitment of Wolfe now brings USC officially to two tight ends in 2019 recruiting class with four star Ethan Rae signing his letter of intent. Both Wolfe and Rae adds more depth to the tight end position that underperformed this season. New offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury now has a 6-foot-5 touchdown machine to add to his offense.
