Rae is ranked as the 15th overall tight end in the class of 2019 and ranked 47th in the state of California per the 247 Sports composite. The Orange Lutheran product committed to the Trojans back in July and held firm to his commitment.
At 6-foot-5 Rae gives USC a threat in the red zone and adds to an already talented bunch at the tight end position. The Trojans already have Josh Falo, Daniel Imatorbhebhe, and Erik Krommenhoek returning with another four star tight end in St. John Bosco’s Jude Wolfe already committed. USC will have no shortage at tight end.
Rae could potentially see the field early with the unknown health status of Daniel Imatorbhebhe. With Kliff Kingsbury bringing his Air Raid offense to USC, the targets could increase for the tight ends.
