USC wide receiver Joseph Lewis is currently facing felony charges following an arrest on Monday afternoon. The report came late Monday night via USCFootball.com.
According the report, Lewis was arrested and booked on a felony domestic battery charge. USC has suspended Lewis indefinitely as the investigations goes on. Lewis came to USC as a 5 star wide receiver out of Hawkins High School in Los Angeles, California and saw time on the field via special teams.
Domestic violence is a pretty serious thing and with Lewis booked on a felony charge, his time on the field looks very bleak. He is currently suspended from all team activities and could be booted from the team soon as well. Per California State Law, Lewis could face a $6,000 fine to four years in state prison for the charge.
