Rivalry week is here and the USC Trojans for the first time in years are struggling to be bowl eligible.

USC needs a win against UCLA to cement a trip to a bowl game this year. A loss, and the Trojans would have to beat current College Football Playoff hopeful Notre Dame. USC has a history of making things harder then they should be, let’s hope the Rose Bowl showdown with a crosstown rival isn’t one of those things.

JT Daniels and Wilton Speight haven’t exactly been impressive in their new colors, though one will have to outshine the other if they want to take home the Victory Bell.

Will the threat of missing a bowl game light enough of a fire under USC’s cleats?
