USC vs. Arizona State football: Previews, TV schedule, odds and more

Harry How

After a three-game home stand, USC heads to Tempe, Ariz. for its first conference road game of the season. The Trojans ended their home slate, defeating Utah State, 17-14. Meanwhile, then No. 23 Arizona State fell at No. 5 Stanford, 42-28. USC leads all the all-time series, 18-10, but six of those defeats have come on the road, most recently a 43-22 loss in 2011. It is a homecoming of sorts for Devon Kennard (from Phoenix, Ariz.) and Clancy Pendergast (from Phoenix, Ariz.), who was defensive coordinator for the Arizona Cardinals from 2004-08.
