Three-star, class of 2022 QB Devin Brown commits to USC!

The Trojans are looking way ahead while the return to play in 2020 is still unclear

The USC Trojans secured a big pickup for the future of the program, securing the commitment from three-star, Class of 2022 QB Devin Brown from Queen Creek, Arizona.

Brown pledged his services to head coach Clay Helton, offensive coordinator Clay Helton as well as offensive quality control analyst Seth Doege this past weekend.

He hails from Queen Creek High School in Arizona and is a 6’2, 190-pound pro-style quarterback.

In their early rankings, 247Sports has Brown as the country’s 26th-best pro-style quarterback and the third-best prospect in the state of Arizona on their Composite ranking.

Brown had at least 10 scholarship offers including in-state powers Arizona and Arizona State as well as Wisconsin and Iowa State.

He competed in the national combine earlier this year in January and has the following documented numbers:

40-Yard Dash: 5.27 seconds
Shuttle: 4.99 seconds
L-Cone: 8.06 seconds

Under Brown, Queen Creek is the third-ranked team in the state of Arizona, according to MaxPreps. They are scheduled to kick off their season on October 2nd and we’ll absolutely be watching with renewed interest.

Brown becomes the second player to commit for the class of 2022, joining Niuafe Tuihalamaka from Bishop Alemany. The Trojans already have the leg up on their Pac-12 counterparts with those two commitments are the future is continually looking bright under coach Clay Helton.
