You may not have heard about him yet, and that’s okay. Jayden Wayne is a top prospect for the class of 2023, even though rankings haven’t been released from any major entity that far out yet.
Still, Wayne is a top recruit and a top player overall, hailing from Lincoln High School in Tacoma, Washington. He was selected as a Freshman All-American a season ago and as major college football coaches have queued up the tape, they see why.
And the offers have followed.
So far, Wayne has reportedly received scholarship offers from Tennessee, Oregon, Nebraska and Georgetown, as well as, you guessed it, your USC Trojans.

He was also named a MaxPreps 2020 Preseason All-American just a month after receiving his offer from USC.
He stands 6’5, 224 pounds and plays a variety of positions. Among those are defensive end, outside linebacker, wide receiver and tight end. Particularly special, he also reportedly has a 4.0 GPA through his first year in high school.
Wayne has also been invited to multiple camps and 7 on 7 tournaments as well as listed on Tom Lemming’s top defensive linemen for the class of 2023 already.
Get to know this young man, he may be the next big thing.
And boy is it great that he’s already on the Trojans’ radar!
