USC announces six athletes on 2020 recruiting class

The Trojans officially announced the signings of six basketball players for 2020

The USC Trojans basketball team is officially adding to the 2020 roster with the additions of six new signees, the team announced this last week.

USC brought in top-ranked Isaiah Mobley as well and he’ll be joined by Boubacar Coulibaly, Chevez Goodwin, Isaiah White, Joshua Morgan, Drew Peterson and Tahj Eaddy, USC head coach Andy Enfield announced.

Eaddy is 6’2, 165 pounds and a grad-transfer guard from Santa Clara. He averaged 9.1 points and 2.1 rebounds/assists per game a year ago.

Goodwin stands at 6’9, 215 pounds and is another grad-transfer, this time from Wofford. He averaged 11.9 points and 6.2 rebounds per game for the Terriers last season and is a terrific shooter, averaging 64.0% from the field a year ago.

White is 6’7, 205 and yet another grad-transfer who played for Utah Valley during the 2019-20 season. Leading the team in points and rebounds per contest, he’s bounced around the JUCO ranks and should be an immediate impact performer.

The big man Morgan was the Big West Defensive Player of the Year and stands at 6’11, 195 pounds. He transfers from Long Beach State with three years left of eligibility and picked up 80 career block with LBS.

Peterson is another transfer addition, coming over from Rice after he led the team in assists and rebounds a year ago. He’s an incredible shooter, both from range but also from the line and can dish it. He has great upside in the Trojan offense as well as a solid defensive asset.

The 6’10, 195-pound Coulibaly led San Gabriel Academy to a 22-7 record last year and into the second round of the playoffs. He averaged a ridiculous 25 points and 14 rebounds per game and was ranked as a top-25 player in the state.

This team is something formidable entering the 2020-21 season and it just got more loaded on the roster front. Welcome to the Trojan Family!
