The recruiting class of 2021 will be unlike any class in the history of major college football recruiting. In-person visits and workouts have been cancelled and all meetings between players and coaches have switched to virtual and over the phone due to the coronavirus pandemic.
That being said, head coach Clay Helton and his staff have been hard at work, virtually, crafting quite an impressive list of commitments to date.
That list could get much more impressive if they were to add the services of three-star, Texas WR Hal Presley.
Presley recently named his top 10 schools, in alphabetical order, with your USC Trojans making the cut: Arkansas, Baylor, California, Louisville, Ole Miss, Michigan, Michigan State, Texas, USC and Utah.
Presley is a 6’3, 190-pound ‘highly-rated’ three-star, who could absolutely see a fourth star added to his stature with a great senior season. He ranks as the 55th-best receiver in the country and the 52nd-best prospect overall in the state of Texas.
This would be another huge get for Helton and Co. if they could lure him away from in-state schools of Baylor and Texas.
He was his district’s Offensive Sophomore of the Year in 2018 and was a first-team all-district selection in 2019.
He’s hauled in 1,281 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns over the past two seasons combined at Mansfield Summit High School, and he’s a guy who knows how to go get the ball.
Make the right decision, Hal. We know you can #FightOn!
