USC announces home and home series with Ole Miss in 2025, 2026

The Trojans will host Ole Miss on August 30, 2025, and travel to Oxford on September 19, 2026

USC v Arizona State

The USC Trojans announced a home and home series with the Ole Miss Rebels this week, as the two teams will each host each other starting in 2025.

USC hosts the Rebels on Aug. 30, 2025 while your Trojans are headed to Oxford, Mississippi, on Sept. 19, 2026.

This, of course, will be a meeting with former coach Lane Kiffin who coached the Trojans from 2010-13 and was the coach to hire current USC head coach Clay Helton as QB coach in 2010. Kiffin finished 28-15 as the head coach at USC.

And we all remember that Kiffin was the offensive coordinator for his final two years under Pete Carroll and during his time as an assistant coach, USC brought home two national titles and two Heisman winners with Kiffin on staff.

This is also understanding the volatile nature of the head coaching positions in college football as well as in the SEC where Kiffin could be ousted as quickly as he joined Ole Miss earlier this year. Kiffin was the head coach at FAU prior to joining Ole Miss.

This will be Ole Miss’ first trip to the Coliseum.

“USC will always be a special place to my family and me, and we were excited to finalize this series,” Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin said. “This will showcase two of college football’s greatest gamedays, and we look forward to this meeting down the road.”

Ole Miss has only ever played Cal from the Pac-12.

C’mon Trojans, show ‘em what west coast football is all about.
