Week 5 vs Washington State: How to watch, open thread

Here we go again

The USC Trojans are facing off against the Washington State Cougars in their second ‘primetime’ game of the season today. After opening the year at 9:00 am local time for the entire east coast audience to see, the Trojans will be just one of two college football games on the screen on Sunday, playing the only Power-5 football game, in the primetime slot after the NFL games end.

USC enters the fold against Washington State at 3-0 and looking to improve to 4-0 to tie the Colorado Buffaloes after the Buffs knocked off Arizona on Saturday to get to 4-0. USC can take the ‘de facto’ Pac-12 South lead with a win as they’d improve to 4-0 in conference play as well while Colorado just has three conference wins after they had to play San Diego State last week in a rush-to-schedule matchup when USC had to cancel their originally schedule game.

Still, it’s win and they’re in at this point for USC as they’ll take on a challenging Washington State team in the final scheduled home game of the season.

Originally scheduled for this past Friday night, the Trojans and Cougars will take part in just the fourth Sunday game in USC’s history. USC holds a series record of 60-10-4 against Washington State, including one win vacated due to NCAA penalty.
