The USC Trojans are popping up all over the place in the news. Whether it’s the basketball team stymying a fast-shooting BYU team on the hard court, or the COVID-19 outbreak that caused the latest game this past Saturday to be canceled, the Trojans are widely seen in the news nowadays.
There are mock drafts coming out seemingly every week that send college football players to new homes and Amon-Ra St. Brown has seen his name pop up this season as a first-round pick. And also consider the fact that they’re the highest-ranked and likely only chance at a possible top-10 ranking in the College Football Playoff final rankings for the Pac-12, and you’ve got yourself a mix of news across the board.
St. Brown was pegged to the first round to the Kansas City Chiefs with the 30th pick overall in the 2021 NFL Draft in a mock draft by CBS Sports’ Chris Trapasso.
“Sammy Watkins and Demarcus Robinson are free agents after this season, and St. Brown would fit Kansas City’s receiver mold — he’s fast and good after the catch,” wrote Trapasso.
