Here are USC’s top remaining targets ahead of Signing Day

The USC Trojans are heading to the Pac-12 Championship Game this Friday but before then, the Trojans have National Signing Day on their calendar. Sure, it’s the ‘early’ Signing Day period, but if last year is any indication, this will be where the majority of the athletes commit and sign their National Letters of Intent.

Here are the top remaining uncommitted prospects on USC’s big board:

DE Korey Foreman

The 12th-ranked player all-time will be announcing his commitment live on NBC at January 2, 2021. While once a Clemson commit, the long-since thought was Foreman was leaning towards staying near home and committing to play at USC. We’ll be all over this and all things leading up to his commitment when it comes.

DE J.T. Tuimoloau

The 24th-ranked prospect and No. 2 ranked player in the class, or No. 1 ranked player according to 247Sports is considering a bunch of schools at this point. There is no consensus of where he’ll sign, though Ohio State has taken a slight edge in predictions as of late. He is the biggest name to know outside of Foreman this signing day period.

T Tristan Leigh

Leigh is also committing on NBC on January 2, 2021 and is considering a number of offers. The experts have him predicted everywhere from Oklahoma to LSU to Clemson. USC is not considered to have a chance, though a Pac-12 Championship win could help.

DT Tywone Malone

Malone is considered to be an Ole Miss lean at this point but he does still have several schools in his final list including big-name programs such as Florida State, Texas A&M and USC.

CB Ceyair Wright

Yet another USC target committing on January 2, 2021, Wright is considered by most to be a heavy lean towards USC. In fact, of the five predictions for his services, each of the experts on 247Sports has Wright pulling the trigger on his USC commitment.

QB Jaxson Dart

The reason Jake Garcia backed off his commitment is Dart and he’s considered to be choosing between USC and in-state BYU for his services. With the recent success of Zach Wilson at BYU, it would make sense for him to stay put in Utah but he may be tailormade for the Air Raid offense at USC. Seven of eight predictions have Dart committing to USC.

WR Quaydarius Davis

Davis committed to USC back in the summer but has since made it seem like he’s still open in his commitment. Still, it’d be a strange thing to see him not stay true to his commitment and go elsewhere.

RB Byron Cardwell

Cardwell is announcing his commitment on January 25, 2021 and is considering a bevy of Pac-12 schools in his final list. USC isn’t quite in the lead at this point but is considered to be on the shortlist.

G Josh Simmons

A lean towards San Diego State at this point, Simmons is also considering multiple Power-5 schools in his commitment. We’ll see how this shakes out as there isn’t any firm commitment date for him as of yet.

DE Tiaoalii Savea

A slight lean to Nebraska, Savea is the third-best player from the state of Nevada and has USC as his only other school in his top two at this point for his services. Only one of the predictions has him coming to USC, however.

ATH Devin Kirkwood

A longtime UCLA commit, Kirkwood backed off that pledge just a week ago on December 7. He now has seen UCLA lose to USC and has USC as his top school heading into his commitment, which is scheduled for the Early Signing Day itself, December 16.

ATH Titus Mokiao-Atimalala

A lean to USC, the third-best player in the state of Hawaii on the 247Sports Composite is considering USC over the 21 other offers he had. Only one prediction for the four-star’s services who reminds those at 247Sports of John Ursua, current Seattle Seahawks WR.

RB Alton McCaskill

The three-star back from Texas has USC in his final list of schools and the only one outside of the state or the SEC. This would be another great pull from the state of Texas from head coach Clay Helton and Co.

WR Joseph Manjack

Speaking of Texas, Manjack is considering USC over the majority of in-state schools such as SMU or Houston who offered him. He’s considering a favorite to USC with five of six predictions sending him to the Trojans.
