The USC Trojans are set to be in action this week against California Baptist. And just a few days prior to the season’s tipoff, the Trojans got a magical visit from a LA Legend.

Los Angeles Legend himself Magic Johnson surprise visited the Trojans basketball program during a workout last week, giving insight into what it takes to win a championship and play as a team.
“Remember this: you got a shot, it’s just whether you guys are going to come together and play together,” Johnson started when he surprised the team.
Adding to his words of wisdom and inspiration, Johnson also posed for photos with the team and individuals, spurning some excitement for a team that is brimming with hope for the 2020-21 season.
It was just last week that true freshman Evan Mobley was selected as a preseason Naismith Trophy watch list member and his brother Isaiah Mobley (with Ethan Anderson) were named team captains.
And it also came just days after we got some specific schedule news to discuss and look forward to. Though all tentative at this point, the Trojans have their ‘Pre-Christmas Schedule’ in place.
November 25 is the tip-off game with Cal Baptist at 8:30 pm and the rest of the games are as follows:
Nov. 28 vs Montana
Dec. 1 vs BYU (Legends Classic, Mohegan Sun)
Dec. 3 vs UConn or Vanderbilt (Legends Classic, Mohegan Sun)
Dec. 8 vs UC Irvine
Dec. 13 vs Stanford
Dec. 16 vs San Francisco
Dec. 20 @ Oregon State
Dec. 23 vs Texas Southern
We’re here for it, and we’re definitely looking forward to the Mobley brothers dominating the action this season.
FIGHT ON!
