Let the hype train begin — the USC Trojans are huge betting favorites over the Arizona State Sun Devils for the season-opening week of games in the Pac-12.
With the season opener against ASU just a few days away, the opening lines came out for the 9:00 am November 7th matchup against the Sun Devils.
And you guessed it, the Trojans were huge favorites.
USC opened as a 7.5-point favorite over Arizona State and it had been bet high enough by betters to reach even 10.5 points on Sunday afternoon.
It’s a pretty impressive feat, especially considering this is one of the weekend’s marquee matchups for quarterback play with Kedon Slovis taking on Jayden Daniels. USC has the edge at nearly every position and certainly with the overall roster and the betting market seems to agree.
USC is the Pac-12’s biggest favorite in the betting market this week, surpassing rival UCLA’s opening line of 6-point favorites over the Colorado Buffaloes.
The Trojans and Sun Devils take the field on Saturday, November 7 at 9:00 am local time, as part of the Fox Sports Big Noon Kickoff.
And the Trojans will be out to prove the betters right, and make their claim for the College Football Playoff votes come season’s end early, and in front of the nation’s eyes.
FIGHT ON
