5USC just released its Spring Roster but most notably—it does not include Jalen Greene. Greene, who was slated to be a fifth-year senior for the Trojans, will look elsewhere to finish out his college football career as a graduate transfer.
Over his career at USC he accumulated 26 receptions for 318 yards and zero touchdowns.
Other notable players who were not named on the Spring roster include the likes of offensive linemen Roy Hemsley, Cole Smith and Nathan Smith, linebackers Grant Moore and Olajuwon Tucker, defensive back Jamel Cook, and Greene’s fellow wide receiver Jospeh Lewis.
Lewis has been away from the program after being suspended back in February due to a domestic violence arrest; although he will not face felony charges, his future still remains murky.
Cole Smith, due to injuries, announced that he is retiring from the sport to pursue opportunities off the field.
Hemsley announced last week that his final two years of eligibility will be spent at Arizona State, which has just been helmed by head coach Herman Edwards.
