USC Basketball had a couple of players named for Pac-12 honors.
USC guard Jordan McLaughlin and forward Chimezie Metu were named to the All-Pac-12 First Team on Monday morning. This comes after USC secured place in the Pac-12, their highest since 2002.

McLaughlin and Metu give USC their first duo to be named first team All-Pac-12 since 2006 when Nick Young and Gabe Pruitt were named for the honor. Last season McLaughlin was named to the second team All Pac-12 where Metu was an honorable mention.
Jordan McLaughlin was also named to the Pac-12 All-Defensive team with Metu earning honorable mention.
Senior captain @itsmclaughlin11 also made the Pac-12 All-Defensive Team!

Metu was the Trojans leading scorer with 15.8 points per game as well as the team leader in blocks with 1.7 and rebounds with 7.4. He was a focal point for USC scoring in the paint. McLaughlin also was a huge factor for the Trojans this season, leading the conference in assists with 7.5 assists per game and steals with 1.9 per game.
USC will look towards the first team All Pac-12 duo to lead them to a deep run in the upcoming Pac-12 Tournament and potentially another NCAA Tournament appearance. They await the winner of the Washington/Oregon State opening round game.
