USC has dealt with a ton of losses with injuries. Now they will be losing a key player from their roster in Jordan Usher. The sophomore guard announced that he will be transferring from the Trojans basketball program via his twitter account on Monday afternoon.
Usher was suspended indefinitely from the team for an unspecified conduct issue. USC Trojans head coach Andy Enfield announced that suspension before the Trojans 73-55 victory over USC Davis. He declined to go into specifics The USC basketball twitter account confirmed Usher’s transfer earlier just a few minutes after the announcement was made.

Usher played in 12 games with the Trojans, starting two of the games in the place of the injured Kevin Porter Jr. He averaged 8.4 points and 3.7 points per game this season. Usher started two games as a freshman during USC’s NIT run last season. Usher was a four star guard out of Canton, Georgia and was the No. 25 shooting guard in the nation per the 247 sports composite. He committed to USC as apart of the three man 2017 recruiting class which included McDonalds All-American Charles O’Bannon Jr.
With the transfer of Jordan Usher, USC is now down to 10 scholarship players. The NCAA permits teams to have 13 scholarship players on roster. It also hurts the Trojans depth wise as the team is still missing Kevin Porter Jr. and Charles O’Bannon Jr due to injuries. Both have been out since November.
