Kedon Slovis has made it official.
The quarterback out of Desert Mountain HS in Arizona waisted no time making his commitment official. He signed his letter of intent during the early signing period on Wednesday morning. USC officially announced the signing via USC athletics twitter account.

Slovis is rated as three star quarterback and is ranked as the 26th Pro style quarterback in the 2019 class. He is also ranked 19th overall in the state of Arizona per the 247 sports composite. Slovis committed to USC back on May 19th and stood firm on his commitment ever since.
The three star quarterback adds depth to the position with JT Daniels, Matt Fink, and Jack Sears already there. At one point USC was only down to one scholarship quarterback following injuries to JT Daniels and Matt Fink in the Utah game. Slovis was coached by NFL Hall of Famer and Super Bowl champion Kurt Warner at Desert Mountain. He now gets to be coached by a great offensive mind in offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury.
Slovis likely won’t compete for the starting job this year or next year. If that job opens up down the road then expect him to compete. Slovis has impressed this season at Desert Mountain HS and in a camps. He wasn’t setting the world on fire, but Slovis is a solid prospect.
