Both the USC Trojans and the Utah Utes are 4-2 and coming off impressive wins against Pac-12 South opponents. The Trojans will be facing the No. 2 rush defense in the nation, so fasten your seat belts for a physical game in Salt Lake City.
The USC offense has struggled in consistency and has had a hard time making sure their opponent can not come back to steal a victory. Quarterback JT Daniels has a multitude of wide receiver weapons in Tyler Vaughns, Michael Pittman Jr., and Amon-Ra St. Brown who will serve as USC’s hope to get into the end zone if the Trojan run game can’t get anything going.
The USC defense is coming off a dominant game against Colorado, where they shut down star wide receiver Laviska Shenault, though this week injuries yet again plague the Trojans. Senior captain Porter Gustin is out for the season with an ankle fracture, and without him USC has struggled to pressure opposing quarterbacks.
Will USC’s offense keep their foot on the gas pedal?
Will the Trojan defense put up another dominant performance despite their multitude of injuries?
