Amon-Ra St. Brown, the five-star receiver who is a part of USC’s 2018 recruiting class, will be included in an upcoming piece done by Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel on HBO.
This family is oft-considered to be the “Ball Family of College Football” and, honestly, that may not be so far off. While there aren’t as many eccentricities that come with the Browns in comparison to the Balls there are similarities when you begin to break down how each family conditions their children to be in the best position to succeed.
The episode will follow the three brothers - Amon-Ra (USC, freshman), Osiris (Stanford, freshman), and Equanimeous (Notre Dame, graduated & slated to enter NFL Draft) - and the lengths both their father, John Brown, and mother, Miriam Brown, will go to to ensure that their sons experience success.
It’s really all quite interesting and should make for compelling insight into a family that may eventually have a set of three brothers playing in the National Football League.
Below you can find a preview of the episode. It airs this Tuesday (1/30) at 10pm ET/PT on HBO.
