Rounding out a tumultuous week of recruiting that included two 4-star players, the Trojans received a verbal commit from 4-star TE Camren McDonald late Sunday night in yet another get for their 2018 recruiting class.

McDonald is yet another recruit coming from a long lineage of football powerhouse Long Beach Poly High School and at 6’4” 205 lbs., he certainly has potential to make an impact for the Trojans.
Typically lined up outside the numbers, McDonald’s length and athleticism caused mismatches for smaller defensive backs and can potentially be moved to wide receiver pending how his frame fills out come next summer.
McDonald ultimately brings untapped versatility to a 2018 Trojan team that seems poised to be one of the best if not the best offensive team in all of the NCAA.
With a stacked team locked and loaded for the 2017 season, the Trojans are showing no signs of slowing down as they continue their push for their first NCAA playoff appearance.
