2017 NFL Draft: Darreus Rogers Gets Signed by Seahawks

Seattle goes to the USC pipeline yet again to get a WR

NCAA Football: California at Southern California Richard Mackson-USA TODAY Sports

Darreus (not Fred) Rogers is off to the NFL. After four years as a member of the USC Trojans, Rogers has been signed by the Seattle Seahawks as a priority undrafted free agent.

Rogers gained 1,487 yards on just 127 receptions (11.7 ypc) including 11 total touchdowns during his time at USC. Rogers, after steadily producing for three years, finally earned a starting job his senior season and came thru with just under 700 receiving yards on less than 60 catches.

From our analysis on Rogers:

He’s got strong hands and good body control to open up his catching radius, but he is absolutely a poorly tested athlete.

Congrats Darreus,

Fight On!
