Offensive guard Damien Mama has signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent following the 2017 NFL Draft.
Mama is a monstrous guard with underappreciated athleticism, he is an absolute road grader and will make an impact in the run game.
Heavenly Father has given me this great blessing. Thank you Coach Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs organization for the opportunity. #Chiefs pic.twitter.com/NNWSZop3SD

From our mini-assessment following the Pro Days:
“With a stout build and flashes of dynamite in his hands, Mama isn’t necessarily scheme-specific like Banner would be. Mama made waves locally as he worked hard to lose weight since his freshman year and eventually lost 75 pounds.”
Mama started four games as a true freshman before going on to be the full-time starter for his remaining two years at USC. Mama will definitely be going out on top as a Trojan, after having a stellar year which he allowed no sacks on the quarterback and only allowed one hit on the QB all season.
The USC standout didn’t test well at the combine or at USC’s pro-day but when you put on the film and watch Damien Mama has the talent to start in the NFL. Whether he’ll start immediately or provide depth across the offensive line remains to be seen.
