JuJu Smith Schuster / USC Trojans NFL Draft Player Profile
From: “Finding a home for all the USC Trojans in the 2017 NFL Draft”
Position: WR
Position Rank: 5
Overall Rank: 46
Will he be drafted: Definitely.
Best fit: Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens are in desperate need of wide receiver help, especially with the retirement of Steve Smith Sr and Breshad Perriman failing to establish himself as a definitive WR1. Smith-Schuster provides a bigger and more physical replacement to the tough, over the middle, YAC receiver that the Ravens are losing in Smith Sr. If this connection happens, I would pencil in JuJu as a possible Offensive Rookie of the Year contender.”

Zach Banner / USC Trojans NFL Draft Player Profile
“Zach Banner
Position: OT
Position Rank (via Espn): 6
Overall Rank: 104
Best fit: The Carolina Panthers. Carolina has had issues at tackle going back to the 15-16 season when Von Miller exposed them on the NFL’s biggest stage. The Panthers have taken steps to address their deficiencies by signing former Trojan Matt Kalil but, that only takes care of the left side. The panthers still need help on the right side of the line, and with them looking to add a running back in the draft and improve their ground attack, Banner would slide in nicely as a mid-round pick.”
Chad Wheeler / USC Trojans NFL Draft Player Profile
From “Finding a home for the rest of the USC Trojan NFL prospects”
“Chad Wheeler
Position: OT
Position Rank: 11
Overall Rank: 208
Will he be drafted: 3rd Day maybe.
Best Fit: Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys have had a vaunted offensive line for the last 3 seasons, paving the way for 2 of the last 3 holders of the rushing title. However, with Ronald Leary moving on in free agency and Doug Free retiring that stellar line has taken some hits. The cowboys have signed veteran Byron Bell to help cope but could use a little bit more. This where Chad fits in for me, now there is talk that Chad would have to move inside to either guard or center, but I believe he’ll make his mark as a utility linemen, filling in where he is needed. Now the Cowboys are best because they won’t need instant help for him, allowing him to get stronger to improve his overall ability, he could then be a great cheaper option as that line starts to become expensive.”
