Noah Jefferson will stay within the Pac-12 South. On Sunday the Former USC defensive tackle announced on his twitter that he will transfer to the Arizona Wildcats.
Last season Jefferson started for the Trojans against Alabama, which would be the only game he would play for the USC Trojans that season. After the game Jefferson suffered a sprained shoulder which then led to him having to step away from the team due to personal issues, before returning to catch up on his academics.
In November Jefferson told USCFootball.com that he was transferring out of the Program due to personal issues. In 13 career games with USC, Jefferson had 26 tackles and made a solid impact on the field.
The addition of Jefferson gives the Wildcats some size in the middle, however they’ll have to wait for him to suit up as Jefferson must sit out for the 2017 season due to the transfer rule.
