Pac-12 announced their awards and honors Tuesday afternoon and USC was well represented.
The All-Pac-12 featured a few Trojans on the list for the first and second team list. USC had a total of 7 players represented on the first team All Pac-12. Quarterback Sam Darnold and running back Ronald Jones II were voted on offense while on the other side of the ball safety Marvell Tell, linebackers Uchenna Nwosu, Cam Smith, and defensive lineman Rasheem Green gotten the nod.
Sophomore wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. was voted for First Team All Pac-12 on special teams. The 7 USC players are the most of any school in the conference that got the vote on the first team
On the all Pac-12 second team, the Trojans had 4 voted on the list. Wide receiver Deontay Burnett, offensive lineman Toa Lobendahn, defensive lineman Christian Rector, and special teams specialist Matt Lopes.
One thing to note, quarterback Sam Darnold is the first USC quarterback to be named to first team all Pac-12 since Mark Sanchez was voted to that honor in 2008.
