USC has an early entry into the NFL draft. Junior offensive lineman Damien Mama announced on his instagram that he would be declaring for the upcoming NFL Draft Friday afternoon.
Mama was a starter during his three years with the Trojans. This season he started 12 games and was named second team All Pac-12 during the team’s run to the Rose Bowl. Mama was one of the five USC players to turn in a NFL draft evaluation sheet that tells if players are a 1st round or 2nd round pick.
For the Trojans, they now have some holes to fill on the line with the departure of Chad Wheeler, Zach Banner, and now Damien Mama. Good news for the Trojans is that Junior offensive lineman Chris Brown will should be ready to step into the starting guard position. Brown split time with Mama earlier this season.
USC is still awaiting the decision on Junior cornerback Adoree Jackson and Junior wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster.
