Sam Darnold wins Archie Griffin Award / USC Trojans Update

From the Archie Griffin Award website:

“The red-shirt freshman has been named the winner of the 2016 Archie Griffin Award presented by the Touchdown Club of Columbus. The award, named for the Ohio State football great and the only two-time winner of the Heisman Trophy, is the only nationally recognized award presented at the conclusion of all post season bowl games. [. . .] Sam is the first freshman to ever win the award since its inception in 1999.

The 2016 Archie Griffin Award will be presented during the 62nd Touchdown Club of Columbus Awards on Saturday, February 4, 2017”
