The USC Trojans and California Golden Bears were also in the running as well. Jarrell is from Scottsdale, Arizona and opted to stay in his home state. The Trojans have a verbal commitment from 4-star safety Bubba Bolden and host of other blue-chip safeties already on the roster including, John Plattenburg, Marvell Tell and Ykili Ross. Isaiah Pola-Mao a 4-star safety is also strongly considering committing to the Trojans as well. In other words, USC is pretty solid at the safety position.
