The USC Trojans got a huge commitment the week before National Signing Day. On Monday evening Marlon Tuipulotu announced via twitter that he has committed to USC and will enroll early.
Please respect my decision and no interviews at this moment. Thank you. pic.twitter.com/ViKdxgEX08

Tuipulotu is rated as a four star and is the No. 5 defensive tackle, also being the top player out of the state of Oregon according to 247Sports recruiting site. Tuipulotu was a long time Washington Huskies commit and was expected to enroll early at Washington before flipping his commitment to the Trojans.
The commitment of the four star defensive tackle is a pretty huge get for USC. The Trojans depth at defensive tackle is very thin with key departures from transferring and graduations. Tuipulotu could see some time next season as a freshman and with him enrolling early, he’ll get a head start on working his way up on the depth chart.
The commitment of Tuipulotu brings the USC 2017 class to 18 commitments.
