Desert Pines (Nev.) star Randal Grimes knew that USC was the right place for him for some time now. Saturday, the do-it-all athlete made his intentions known with an official commitment announcement via Twitter.

"I was sure probably about 2 weeks after my first visit," Grimes said on when he know USC was for him. "The coaches are really great!"
Grimes, who first visited just over a month ago on the eleventh of March, quickly fell in love with the Trojans after landing his offer the same day of that ever so important first visit. Grimes immediately felt a connection with the Trojan staff and the unique vibe surrounding the football program.
"I have a personal bond with everyone at USC," said Grimes. " It's something really special here!"
The multi-skilled athlete who thrives on the field as a wide receiver, also enjoys that the Trojans are recruiting him at that position.
"They're recruiting me to play wide receiver," Grimes said.
Grimes is extremely anxious and excited about his future in a Trojan Uniform. He even hopes to see current teammate Tony Fields, who does not hold a USC offer at this time, wind up playing with him in college.
Grimes also has some pretty lofty expectations that will certainly please Trojan fans around the world.
"My expectations for USC is to win a national championship and the Rose Bowl, nothing less," said Grimes.
"USC is trending up right now and I don't see the new glory days being far away," Grimes said on the future of the Trojan football program. "I just want to contribute and help bring those glory days back as soon as possible!"
Once again, the USC coaching staff gets a win on the recruiting trail with the addition of another extremely motivated prospect with a very high ceiling. There'll be plenty more to come.
