Julian Jacobs has declared for the NBA Draft

Jacobs can still come back to school if he doesn't hire an agent and withdraws his name by May 25.

Last night, news broke that junior guard Julian Jacobs will declare for the 2016 NBA Draft. Yahoo Sports was first to report.

LA Times reporter Zach Helfand confirmed the decision from the guard.

It's a little bit of a shocking decision by Jacobs but he has potential and will likely be one of the most athletic guards in the class if he does end up hiring an agent and making it official.

Jacobs had a good 2015-16 season as he led the conference with 5.5 assists per game. He also averaged 11.6 points per game and 4.9 rebounds per game.

He also had a couple of tenacious dunks this year including this one against Washington:

We wish Jacobs the best whether he goes to the NBA or comes back for his senior year.
