USC Trojans Football Coaches Clinic to be held on April 1-2

On April 1 and 2, Clay Helton and the entire Trojan coaching staff will host the USC Football Coaching Clinict the John McKay Center on campus. The clinic is open to coaches of all levels as well as fans who want to know more about what the new coach brings to the table as well as some insight on his philosophies.

The clinic will showcase presentations put together by Helton and his staff as well as in-depth position meetings conducted by each position coach. Offensive and defensive scheme discussions in a roundtable format will also take place, giving attendees some insight into what they should expect on both sides of the ball. Trojan strength and conditioning coach Ivan Lewis also will be on hand to conduct a presentation on player development and the off-season/in-season training program.

The event will also have a slew of guest speakers including Los Angeles Rams head coach Jeff Fisher, Troy Calhoun (Air Force head coach), Tim DeRuyter (Fresno State head coach), Kirby Wilson (Cleveland Browns run game coordinator/ running backs coach), and Freddie Kitchens (Arizona Cardinals quarterbacks coach).

Attendees are also treated to a Trojan spring football practice on April 2 at Howard Jones Field, allowing the presentations to be put to action.
