It's been a wild ride for Velus Jones. Jones originally committed to USC last April. That was until January 23rd, when he de-committed and committed to Oklahoma according to a tweet on his twitter. That tweet lasted one day because the next he de-committed from Oklahoma and re-committed to USC.
Jones is a speedy wide receiver from Alabama and is the second ranked wide receiver in the state of Alabama according to Scout. Jones is an elusive wide receiver who has been clocked in the 4.4 range for a 40-yard dash. USC is deep at wide receiver next year and it will be interesting to see how Jones does during fall camp.
