USC football is continuing to round out their 2016 recruiting class with a three-star outside linebacker from Honolulu, Hawaii.
Jordan Iosefa, rated No. 50 in his position by 247Sports Composite rankings, sent in his papers today for the 2016 season. The 6'2, 216 pounder also received interest from Oregon State and his hometown Hawaii, along with interest from other major programs, but the appeal for playing for the Trojans won out.
Iosefa had initially committed after attending camp and receiving a scholarship offer in June 2015. Though he is considered undersized for an edge player, he made 34 tackles this year in his senior season at St. Louis High School, his only season at the school after transferring from the public Waipahu High School.
Loveni appears likely to be a redshirt candidate for 2016, but after a year in the weight room, he could become a very solid defensive addition.
Highlights from his season at St. Louis can be seen below.
