Latest updates concerning Pat Haden's condition come from the LA Times, which reports that the retiring athletic director underwent an "unspecified medical procedure" sometime yesterday, and NBC Sports, which reports that Haden is in stable condition and "resting comfortably at a local hospital" according to a press release.
Meanwhile the men's basketball team prepares to face off against Arizona State University later tonight on the road. The LA Times highlights the fact that USC is back in the top 25 nationally after their win over UCLA last week. The LA Times also points out that the Trojans, now ranked No. 23, are only behind Oregon in competition for the conference. LA Daily News praises the team as well, calling the Trojan's balanced attack a "recipe for success."
