Men's Basketball: USC 91, BYU 84 - Highlights 12/3/16
“Jordan McLaughlin scored 24 points and Southern California defeated BYU 91-84 on Saturday night in the second game of the inaugural Hoophall LA doubleheader at Staples Center.
Shaqquan Aaron added a season-high 19 points and Elijah Stewart had 16 points for the Trojans (8-0), who equaled their best start since 2000-01. They joined Gonzaga, Saint Mary's and UCLA as the only West Coast teams that are still undefeated.”
Highlights: USC men's basketball rolls past BYU at Staples
“Mika’s career high not enough as BYU Basketball falls to USC” from Vanquish the Foe:
“the continued trend of poor three point shooting, porous defense, and turnover problems allowed USC to earn a 91-84 victory over the Cougars at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA. Nick Emery and T.J. Haws had matching 0/6 shooting performances in the first half, but their 15 and 16 point second halves, respectively, came too late. BYU failed to get over the hump after USC took a 55-39 lead when Erik Mika picked up his third foul 51 seconds into the half.”

“USC beats Cougars, 91-84” by Jay Drew of the Salt Lake Tribune.
“Sophomore Shaqquan Aaron was 4-for-5 from 3-point range in the first half alone and finished with a career-high 19 points. Junior Jordan McLaughlin, a 10-point scorer, also hit a career high, going off for 24 as the Trojans played their first game without injured leading scorer Bennie Boatwright.”
