USC Basketball just got an interesting commit. Charles O’Bannon Jr. verbally committed to the Trojans this morning. Ranked 34th in ESPN’s 100, the 4 star guard out of Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas, Nevada was also considering UCLA, UNLV and North Carolina St.
LA... let's get it✌ ️❤️

What makes the commitment of O’Bannon Jr interesting is the fact that his uncle, Ed O’Bannon, and father, Charles O’Bannon Sr., both played their basketball in Westwood at UCLA. Both the O’Bannon brothers played on the 1995 UCLA team that won the National Championship that year. It’s interesting to see O’bannon Jr. go away from adding on to the family legacy at UCLA and deciding to make his own for their crosstown rival in USC.
O’Bannon jr. add’s to the Trojans strong recruiting for 2017 which already includes another ESPN 100 recruit in Jordan Usher and Four star center Victor Uyaelunmo.
