USC Athletics put out a season highlight video featuring interviews and highlights that chronicle the Trojans’ amazing run from 1-3 to the Rose Bowl. Players including Sam Darnold, Juju Smith -Schuster, Justin Davis, Zach Banner and many more discuss their incredible 2016 season.
The best part of the video may have been at the 23 second mark when Clay Helton gave an intense post game speech to the team after they lost to Utah.
“I’m gonna tell you this, I’m proud of you. I’m proud to be your coach. That’s a good football team and a great football game and it went down to the end. You competed with damn honor. If you keep competing like that and get rid of the mistakes you will win football games. That’s my promise to you.”
