Men's Basketball: USC 93, Pepperdine 67 - Highlights 12/11/16

From Reign of Troy’s Recap:

“In their second game without Bennie Boatwright, the Trojans continued their winning ways, riding Stewart’s hot hand to an easy victory.

The aforementioned guard had 26 points, hitting 7-of-12 three pointers, but it wasn’t scoring alone that made his standout performance.”

From Galen Central’s recap:

“The Trojans had nine turnovers on Sunday (including just three in the first half). This was the first time we’ve gotten a glimpse of how scary this offense can be with a low turnover rate and sharp shooting. The team shot a season-best 56.6 percent from the floor and 52.2 percent from three-point land.”

Recap: USC men's basketball improves to 9-0 in win over Pepperdine

From the Associated Press via USCTrojans.com:

“USC: The Trojans could work their way into the national rankings and garner more publicity for their undefeated season, possibly leap-frogging several two-loss teams. USC's winning ways in the preseason will be especially beneficial when the Pac-12 season begins Dec. 28 at Oregon State.”
