USC Trojans ranked 20th in the second college football playoff committee rankings of 2016

Washington is 4, Colorado 12, Utah 15, and Washington State 23.

The USC Trojans have entered into the College Football Playoff Committee Rankings. Five teams from the Pac-12 are in the top 25. The Alabama Crimson Tide, Clemson Tigers, and Michigan Wolverines once again held the top 3 spots in the second playoff committee rankings. The Washington Huskies jumped into the 4th spot following the Texas A&M loss. The USC Trojans, however, jumped up into the rankings all the way to number 20 in the rankings. The Colorado Buffaloes came in at 12th, Utah Utes at 15th, and the Washington State Cougars came in at number 23.

USC was the biggest riser of the week going from unranked to number 20. The SEC, Pac-12, ACC, and Big Ten all have 5 teams each in this week’s rankings. The Big-12 has 3 teams, with Boise State and Western Michigan rounding out the top 25.

This Saturday will be #4 Washington hosting #20 USC with Playoff and Pac-12 implications on the line. You can see the full rankings below.
