Clay Helton, Adoree’ Jackson, & Curtis Conway joined Trojans Live to talk USC Football

USC head coach Clay Helton once again was on Trojans Live Monday night coming off a huge road win against Washington. After breaking down the victory he spoke about UCLA. Helton said they are going to continue to do what they’ve done every week for the last 6 weeks which is to focus on the next game up. In particular for Helton that means putting their great win over Washington behind them and focusing on the Bruins.

Helton also spoke about the greatness of this rivalry he also emphasized that the preparation for this game will be the same as the last game. Specifically Helton said that much in the same way the Trojans did not get caught up in the hype and excitement for the Washington game and stayed focused on the task at hand so too will they stay focused on doing their jobs against UCLA.

Execution will be critical for the Trojans success according to Helton. With this being the 11th game of the season and the amount of familiarity both teams and coaching staffs have with one another it will be tough to throw too many surprises or catch either team off guard. Therefore, the team that goes out and executes their assignments for 60 minutes is likely going to be the team that wins.
