After a thrilling win over Washington, USC will head to their second home, the Rose Bowl, this Saturday when they face the 4-6 UCLA Bruins.
It’s been a extremely disappointing season for the Bruins who have already lost Josh Rosen for the rest of the season and head coach Jim Mora’s seat has never been hotter.
Put it this way... For UCLA fans, they have already moved on to basketball...
But, stranger things have happened especially in rivalry games. USC leads the all-time series 47-31-7.
With Rosen out, senior Mike Fafaul has taken over under center and is job has not been easy at all due to the non-factor rushing offense for the Bruins. UCLA’s rushing attack is averaging a mere 87 yards on the ground per game and ONLY 2.89 yards per carry.
If there is one player to watch on the Bruins, it’s senior defensive lineman Takkarist McKinley. McKinley leads the nation with 18 tackles for a loss on the season and the Trojans, like all other teams, will probably double team him on Saturday.
It will be interesting to see how both teams come out on Saturday, especially with the 7:30 P.T. start time.
