Well it was an awesome win for the Trojans over the Washington Huskies Saturday night. Headed into the week USC was not ranked in the AP or Coaches Poll but that sure changed after last night. The Trojans are now ranked 15 in the AP and 19 in the Coaches Poll. The Trojans were ranked 20th in the Playoff Committee rankings prior to beating Washington so it will be exciting to find out how high they climb on Tuesday night.

Elsewhere around the Pac-12 Washington dropped to 7in the AP and 7 in the Coaches Poll. Colorado handled Arizona on Saturday and now they rank 12 in the AP and 12 in the Coaches Poll. Utah beat Arizona State on Thursday night which lands them 11 in the AP and 11 in the Coaches Poll. Washington State continued their winning ways late Saturday night over Cal giving them a ranking of 20 in the AP and 20 in the Coaches Poll

rankings used here

The Associated Press Top 25: The longest-running and best-respected human poll. Didn't have any official bearing on the latter years of the BCS, and doesn't have any official bearing on the Playoff. Most outlets (including SB Nation) will use the AP's rankings as the standard until the committee takes over in November, though. Usually comes out on Sundays about 2 p.m. ET.

The USA Today Coaches Poll: Formerly part of the BCS, and now just a poll. It tends to react more cautiously than the AP's. Though polling athletic departments in order to rank other athletic departments is dubious, we still want multiple human polls in here, and this is the other big one. Releases early Sunday afternoons.
